So sometimes when people think they are alone,
they want someone they can trust, share thoughts with,
they need someone to assure them it'll all be fine,
someone who can hold their hand and tell them he is here,
someone who can wipe off the tears and make them happy,
they want that person to show them them the right path,
they need that person to take them to safety,
someone who can share their happy moments,
someone who can reduce the pain in their bad times,
one who can help them understand it goes wrong sometimes,
one who can assure them it's not your fault, it happens,
and someone who can tell them its life, it goes on...........
But what I don't understand is how people can find that person in an invisible non-existing power called GOD....................

Hello Anirudh,
ReplyDeleteInteresting and entertaining work here on your blog. Thanks for sharing!
my take on this poem. . .
People are not finding that solace in 'an invisible non-existing power called God'
They are finding it in an existing, visible power called 'self', but lack the conviction to believe that they are powerful enough themselves to solve their own dilemas, and so attribute the success to the power beyond themselves, which they then define according to what suits them best.
We are all gods. This is why there are so many different religions.
Having said that, I do myself believe that there is a purposed intent to the universe. I just don't think that any religion or any living person has experienced the whole elephant yet.
